For your bidding pleasure is this interesting collection. In this collection is a wooden tongue and grove cigar box from Cuba. The box shows part of a stamp that is dated 1942 (pre-Cuban embargo). Inside the box are various artifacts from around the world. First with the box is a glass Japanese net float. The float is in good condition and has no obvious damage. Also in the box is a large scraper marked from New Ireland, Papua New Guinea and a small scraper marked Thailand. Next is a piece of "Viking Timber" from excavations in Coppergate York. Last in the lot are nine small pieces of fossils from Fayoum Oasis in Egypt. Information on these items is not known. Please see photographs for assessment of items in this lot.
