Featured in this lot is a German Grundig Konzertschrank model 9078 stereo console originating from the 1950's. The console displays wonderful retro construction with a radio, record player, and tape player. The piece displays solid construction with wood veneer and brass accents. The top of the piece displays a lifting lid on each side, storing the record and tape players. The front of the console displays a storage cupboard on each side and a pullout middle section revealing a radio and sound system. The system displays instructions and is marked in German. The back of the piece shows a paper sheet with information written in German. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear due to age. The piece measures 57 1/2" long by 33" tall and 14 1/2" wide.
