For your consideration in this lot is a J.J. Audubon (1785-1851) lithograph of a Louisiana Hawk. This is from plate #392 and was in 1837 Engraved Printed and colored by R. Havell (1827-1838). This a wonderful lithograph of a female Louisiana Hawk (Buteo Harrisi). This lithograph is professionally double matted and framed with a wooden frame. The art shown measures 14 1/4" x 12 3/4". The frame measures 23" x 21 1/2". There is slight damage to the cover paper on the back of the frame and some light marks on the original paper. Please see photographs for assessment of condition.
