For your consideration is this 1950's Pueblo Hopi Indians gourd dancing rattle. The Hopi gourd shows a cross design with geometric shapes that are iconic and common on Hopi Native American artifacts. The Hopi are a Native American tribe who primarily live on the Hopi Reservation in northeastern Arizona. Pueblo Indians are American Indians who live in pueblos and have a long tradition of farming. The condition of this dancing rattle is good with slight wear to the paint on the face of the gourd dancing rattle and some of the paint on the handle chipping. The measurements of this dancing rattle are 11" x 6" x 4".
