For your consideration is this 1952 map of Montana showing oil and gas fields and test wells for oil and gas, by J. D. Vine and C. E. Erdmann, published by the U. S. Geological Survey. The map comes in two sections, an East and West part, with the key on the West side of the map and the title on the east side. The map shows oil fields in green and gas fields in red. The series and number of this map are "Oil and Gas Investigations Map OM-130". The map scale is 1:500,000. The map shows overall good condition with some light wear and small tears to the edges of the map in some areas but it does not affect the integrity or readability of the map. The map sections measure 47" L x 41 1/4" W. The total map measurements when put together are 47" L x 82 1/2" W.
