Featured in this lot is this 1979 M.C. Poulsen (1953–Present) “Moon Over Carter Mountain”. The artwork shows a wonderful scenic view of Carter Mountain and the moon peeking behind from the clouds. A painter of portraits and western genre, M.C. Poulsen works in the Old Master classical realist tradition. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and was raised on a ranch, where he developed a love for the subject matter he later depicted in his paintings. The condition of this framed oil on canvas is good, with no obvious signs of damage to the artwork but slight wear to the frame of the artwork.
