Featured in this lot is this Vaquero single spur, double sided silver mounted spur collection, circa 19th - 20th century. There are four single spurs in this collection. The first features a double sided silver mounted construction with a lovely tooling of floral decoration and features a solid construction. The second features the best single spur in this collection, with a double sided silver mounted construction, an eight tine rowel, and a figure 8 construction to the spur shank. The third is a sunburst vaquero spur with single floral spur strap button and a washed out silver mounting to the spur frame. The last features a solid leaf shank with an eight tine rowel and a wonderful patina to the spur, denoting the age. The condition of this collection of single spurs is fair; some of the silver mounting to one of the spurs is eroded off and all of them feature oxidation consistent with the age of the spurs. One of the spurs is without the spur strap button and swivel. The measurements of this collection of spurs range from 4 3/4" x 3 1/8" x 1 1/4" to 5 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 5" x 2 1/4".
