Featured in this lot is this 19th century Victorian rocking chair constructed of oak wood, buffalo horns and massive elk antlers. The chair shows a red/orange floral designed upholstery surrounded by buffalo horns and elk antlers. The rocking chair features six polished buffalo horns (three pairs) and a pair of very large elk antlers. The buffalo horns are set on both sides of he back rest with one pair sitting on the base of the chair and the other two pairs rising up the backrest. The elk antlers act as the arm rests and show buffalo horn end caps, held in place by two brass screws. Below the seat, four supports are also from the elk antlers, as well as one of the cross sections. The chair shows good condition overall but shows signs of wear and use throughout. No signs of obvious damage are present. The chair measures 30 3/4" L x 23 5/8" W x 35" H.
