Featured in this lot is this collection of original cabinet cards by C.S. Fly Gallery of an unidentified Tombstone Family circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are three cabinet cards in this collection showing wonderfully and professionally crafted construction and shows a woman in tradition garment with a white blouse and period correct haircut, an infant in a white lace gown, and a young man in a pinstripe suit. Each of the cabinet cards are marked on the front as follows: Fly's Gallery - Tombstone, A.T. The cabinet cards come complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: A Tombstone family unidentified but preserved in history. Camillus "Buck" Sydney Fly (May 2, 1849 – October 12, 1901) was an Old West photographer who is regarded by some as an early photojournalist and who captured the only known images of Native Americans while they were still at war with the United States. He took many other pictures of life in the silver-mining boom town of Tombstone, Arizona, and the surrounding region. He recognized the value of his photographs to illustrate periodicals of the day and took his camera to the scenes of important events where he recorded them and resold pictures to editors nationwide. The condition of this collection of Camillus "Buck" Sydney Fly cabinet cards is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage with some browning or aging to the cabinet cards but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these cabinet cards is 6 1/2" x 4 1/4". P-48, P-49, P-50
