For your bidding pleasure is this 19th C. Copper Indian & Horse Weather Vane. This weather vane is in good condition showing a horse at a dead run with an Native American Indian kneeling on its back drawing back its bow. According the the generous showing of patina and oxidation on the copper and the rivets holding the pieces together this weather vane dates from the early 19th century. The copper pipe that is connected to the bottom of the weather vane has a place to attach a directional vane at the bottom, however does not currently have one. The measurements of the weather vane are 23 1/2" x 23 5/8".
