Featured in this lot is this 19th century dovetail copper confectionary pot. This highly collectible hammered copper confectionary pot is built with wrought iron mounts and a swinging handle, this is a large kettle and shows a rolled lip at the rim. The copper is constructed with dovetail joint design to hold the bodies of the kettle together. This pot is large and shows good with some dents and marks consistent with its age and use. It has a nice patina overall to both inside and outside of the kettle. This type of pot could serve many functions. It measures approximately 24" in diameter and 15.5" H. Provenance: from a well known Livingston, Montana Collector.
