Featured in this lot is this dovetail copper confectionary kettle circa 1890's. The copper kettle bowl shows double stationed wrought iron handles, a dovetail bottom, and a vertical dovetail joint leading to one of the wrought iron stationed handles. The side walling of the kettle is layered with two separate horizontal dovetail joints that make up the construction of this kettle or pot. The copper is molded with a hammered method to shape the kettle into completion. The condition of this copper bowl is good, with some dings to the walls of the confectionary bowl and a heavy patina to the inside of the bowl. The measurements of this confectionary pot are 11" x 31" x 25 1/2". Provenance: from a well known Livingston, Montana Collector.
