For your consideration is this original oil on canvas American Pennsylvania Dutch folk art painting signed Adelle from the 19th Century. This framed painting shows a snowy, farm house scene as a man comes up his driveway in a wood sled pulled by two horses. Farm animals such as cows and chickens can be seen in the bottom left hand corner near the open stable at the barn. A large yellow farm house sits at the end of the driveway covered by snow and surrounded by snow covered trees. The bottom right hand corner is signed by the artist in pencil reading, "Adelle". The piece is set in a nice wood frame showing good condition overall with no signs of damage or major wear present. The visible art measures 13 7/16" L x 17 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 17 1/2" L x 21 9/16" W x 2" D. It weighs 3 pounds and 4 ounces.
