Featured in this lot is this collection of Tombstone, Arizona found Old West artifacts including some Prostitute / Soiled Dove women's items circa 19th century; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This collection includes a total of six items all found in the city of Tombstone while excavating this Old West town. The first item is a locket decorated with glass and showing etched floral decoration to the brass frame; the museum tag reads as follows: Locket found in tombstone by William Morgan - donated by his granddaughter, Vicky Key. The next item is a cameo ring with an 18k gold ring band and setting with a carved female face in the cameo face and shows a museum tag that reads as follows: Cameo ring found in basement of attached building. The next item is a brooch found in the Tombstone courthouse that shows a a large oval cut garnet in its center with pipe work of brass for the decorative frame; the museum tag accompanying it reads as follows: Brooch found in the courthouse safe right after the county seat was moved to Bisbee. The second to last item is a bangle brass bracelet with a tubular frame and shows decorated etching to the outside of the bangle bracelet. The last item is a pair of decorative brass cuff links with a decorative design with a crescent moon and a star. The condition of this artifact collection is preserved with some heavy patina and wear to the jewelry, being recovered organically but otherwise shows a preserved condition.
