For your consideration is this original full flap holster for the Colt 1860 Army from the 19th Century. This is an early civilian holster for the Colt Peacemaker or Colt 1860 Army revolver, or possibly one of its conversions, made in the military style for commercial use. It is a Slim Jim design of thick russet leather with a toe plug and the military style flap and brass closure. The brass closure and toe plug have been lost but the flap, stitching, steel rivets and belt loop remain in good condition. The leather is worn from its vintage age and its years of use. The holster measures 12 " L x 6" W.
