Featured in this lot we have a set of three German hand painted porcelain pipes originating from the 19th century. The first of the pipes shows the hand painted image of a a group of three men in a hunting party sitting having lunch with a hound laying in the grass. The stem shows carved horn decorations with a cord looped through the bowl. The second pipe shows a woodland scene of a hound chasing a pair of deer through trees. The stem is made of cherry wood with a horn end. The third and final pipe shows a hand painted scene of a small girl walking on a fallen tree with a female angel walking behind her with arm out. The pipe shows a stem of wood and carved horn. The collection shows good condition overall with part of the stem damaged on the first pipe and oxidization around the top of the pipes bowls. The largest pipe measures 13 1/2" long with a bowl measuring 4" tall with a diameter of 1 1/4" with the two smaller measuring 9" long with the bowls measuring 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" in diameter.
