available in this lot we have a hand forged branding iron originating from the 19th century. The branding iron handle is made of a single piece of metal this is split at the end and is hand shaped by a blacksmith with the face made of multiple metal pieces fused together. The face shows a brand is the shape of a "T" over "S". The piece is in good condition for its age. It measures 19" long with the brand measuring 6 1/2" tall by 4" wide.
