Featured in this lot is this set of hand forged, banded steel vaquero spurs, circa 19th century. The spurs show excellent construction from banded steel and were forged from one piece of steel. The spurs feature double spur strap lags and 20 sunburst rowels. The condition of these spurs is good, with no obvious signs of damage and some oxidation consistent with the age of the spurs. The measurements of these early spurs are 5" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/4".
