This is an excellent set of 19th-century Jicarilla Apache men's moccasins with buffalo Indian tanned hide and hard sole bottoms. The set shows hard sole parfleche rawhide buffalo / bison sole bottoms which are sinew sewn to the Indian tanned buffalo / bison hide tops which are adorned with beautiful glass trade seed bead beadwork which are also sinew sewn. The beadwork shows colors of chalk white, red white heart, greasy yellow, sky padre light blue, medium blue and cobalt. This is a beautiful set with classic Jicarilla Apache pattern and is likely from the Dulce Indian Reservation in New Mexico. Each measures 10.5-inches long sole by 3.75-inches wide by 3.75-inches high.
