Featured in this lot is this 19th century, sunburst rowel style, shop-made spurs. The spurs are a complete set with a Pat'd mark on the frames beside the swivel spur strap buttons. They feature sunburst spur rowels with a uniquely crafted spur shank resembling the vaquero figure eight. The condition of this pair of spurs is good for their age, showing heavy oxidation from exposure and use; the straps show wear due to age and lack of oils. The measurements of these spurs are 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 7".
