Featured in this lot we have a 19th century percussion cap under hammer walking cane gun chambered in .32 caliber. Cane guns where ostensibly carried by gentlemen as a concealed weapon, but more often than not they where used more as talking pieces and curios than true self defense weapons. This cane gun displays a 25" long round barrel, brass grips, percussion cap trigger system, and spring loaded hammer. The barrel of the gun shows a faded proof mark and worn rear sights. The grip of the piece shows brass construction with a wonderful wood core on the curvature. This older piece still shows a working hammer spring and trigger with the percussion nipple needing showing wear. Overall this piece shows good condition for its age with a warm patina across the finish with some wear and aging due to storage and use. This cane gun weighs 2lbs 10oz. Serial Number: NSN. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
