For your consideration is this 19th century Vaquero double mounted silver spurs. The spurs showing a double-mounted silver and heavy iron construction and originating from the late 1800's. These spurs display wonderful eight point silver sided rowels, ornate silver double-mounting showing a ruly a wonderful representation of early Mexican Vaquero Cowboy spurs. The shank shows a figure-eight coiled rattle snake design with double-mounted etched silver holding the eight-point beveled rowels. Each side of the spur shows a double-silver mounted diagonal bar design with a sweeping double mounted silver design on the other side of the spurs. The condition of this pair of spurs is is good with a slight patina to the silver inlay and a slight oxidation to the iron frame of the spurs. The measurements of this pair of spurs are 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 5 1/4".
