Included in this lot is a hardcover 1859 First Edition of "Daniel Boone, The Pioneer of Kentucky" by George Canning Hill, Franklin Edition, Worthington Co. publishers, New York. This book is a comprehensive account of the life and legacy of one of America's most iconic pioneers. The book traces Boone's journey from his childhood in Pennsylvania to his adventures in the wilderness of Kentucky, where he became a legendary figure in American folklore. George Canning Hill (1825-1898) delves into the details of Boone's life, including his early years as a hunter and trapper, his role in the American Revolution, and his experiences as a settler in the frontier.
