The earrings feature a polished, stamped and tested 14k white gold snowflake design with a bright finish and weights a total of 14.2 grams with new condition and excellent workmanship, the earrings are marked 585 on the inside of the horseshoe earring clasps. The center stones show oval brilliant cut crown and step cut pavilion tanzanite gemstones with measurements of 7 x 5mm and violetish blue coloration with very good cut grades and a total weight o f2.01 carats. The snowflake design and the halo ring are profusely decorated with a total of 470 round brilliant cut diamonds that measure .8 - 1.8mm that shows a color gradient of G - H and a clarity of SI1 - SI2 and shows a total diamond weight of 1.81 carats. Tanzanite is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. It was originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company, who named the stone Tanzanite. This example is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles).
