This is an excellent hand-woven flat weave rug by master weaver, Efrain Gonzalez. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun wool yarns in a beautiful Chinle Trading Post pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% wool blend, which offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, hand-woven weave, displayed with natural fleece tones, is in the fine Chinle Trading Post pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Efrain Gonzalez. This rug shows iconic Zapotec design with thick, symmetrical Chinle Trading Post design, a bright and to light green field and ends with bands of geometric patters with a darker green and features a large stepped central medallion that is constructed from dark brown light and dark green. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 2.5’ by 5’ (2 foot 5 inches by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
