Featured in this lot is this 2.06ct Tanzanite and VS1 diamond 14k white gold ring with AIGL paperwork. The ring features a polished, stamped and tested 14k white gold construction with a bright finish and excellent workmanship with an 'Orianne' hallmark along with a '14k' gold stamp next to it. The center stone is a modified brilliant cut marquise tanzanite gemstone with measurements of 12 x 6mm with bluish violet color and a very good cut grade that shows a overall weight of 2.06 carats. The pave split shoulders and lattice is profusely decorated with a total of 36 round brilliant diamonds that shows measurements of 1.3mm with a clarity grade of VS1 - SI1 and a color gradient of G - H and a total diamond weight of 0.35mm. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. Tanzantite is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K23E15-EA15881) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $5,810.00. The ring size is US 7 1/4.
