Featured in this lot is this 2 3/4" Cache Creek bevled projectile point. The point features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brownish flint material that has been expertly knapped with two opposing beveled sides of the triangular point with sharp shoulders and a flared expanding stem. The condition of this projectile point is preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a preserved overall condition. The measurements of this point is 2 3/4"" x 1 7/8". The collective weight of this point is 22.5g.
Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses.
