Featured in this lot is this original Dau-Law-Taine (a Kiowa artist) painting-on-board, copyright 2021. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. The painting depicts a Native chief in an eagle feather headdress. He is heavily decorated with geometric designs and is holding a feather dance fan. The art shows wonderful use of color and excellent style. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner, reading "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa copyright 2021". The artwork is in pristine condition and has no obvious signs of damage. This painting measures 16" wide by 20" tall.
