Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. This painting depicts a Native Brave seated cross legged and holding a fan and pipe. The figure is depicted sitting on a hill top with mountains in the background. The painting displays wonderful attention to detail given to the contrast of the dark sky with a mountain skyline and the battle dress of the warrior. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner, reading "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa copyright 2021". The artwork is in pristine condition and has no obvious signs of damage. The art measures 12" wide by 12" tall.
