Featured in this lot is a pair of Plains Indian polychrome hand painted hide drums originating from the mid to late 20th century. The drums each display stretched rawhide construction set on a round wood frame. The drums displays hand painted geometric designs on one side and an animal design on the other. The drums are decorated with horse hair and turkey feathers. The drums show good condition overall, with some light wear and patina. The drum measures 6" in diameter by 2 1/4" thick and 14 1/2" tall.
