Available in this lot is a set of Inuit sterling and ivory serving utensils with carved bear and seal heads on the handles, originating from the early 1900's. The utensils consist of a large serving spoon and fork. The fork shows sterling silver four tinned construction with a walrus ivory handle showing a hand carved bear head at the end. The spoon shows sterling silver construction with a walrus ivory handle that has a hand carved seal head at the end. Both of the pieces are marked across the back of the neck with "Sterling". The pieces show good condition overall, with some cracks in the handles. The fork measures 9 3/4" long by 2" wide and the spoon measures 9 3/4" long by 2 1/2" wide.
