The lot features an excellent 14K white gold bracelet set with 24.92 carats of rare natural Tanzanite along with 3.51 carats of Diamonds. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. These examples are unique due to their exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). The bracelet from renowned designer Orianne Collins and is marked, "ORIANNE 14K". The solid platinum flexible link tennis or eternity bracelet features 14 fantastic oval modified brilliant cut with brilliant cut crown Tanzanite stones with a total weight of 24.92 carats and fine quality and clarity with beautiful transparent eye clean finish with rich Violet Blue color and rare pleochroism giving different changes of colors when moved. The bracelet, which is a custom luxury solid 14 karat white gold setting, shows the oval Tanazanite stones being prong set and surrounded by a halo bezle of natural diamonds on each link totaling 252 round brilliant cut diamonds with a weight of 3.51 carats, SI3 to I2 clarity and G-I color. The piece comes with an AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified gemologists AIG# 000718261032) report and appraisal which values the ring at $29,800.00. The rubies are fracture filled. The bracelet has a weight of 14.89 grams and is 6.75 inches in length.
