The ring features a trillion tanzanite outlined diamonds supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. It is interesting because of the exceptional pleochroism. Rotated, a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, do not use this cleaning method.
