This is an outstanding scarce 32.24 carat Tanzanite and 1.47 carat Diamond necklace set in Platinum with GIA and AIG paperwork. The stone exhibits an exceptionally scarce large 32.24 carat size with very good rectangular cushion mixed cut having measurements of 18.00 x 15.70 x 13.55mm. The stone shows an exceptional neon Bluish Violet (moderately strong Blue Violet / Purple) color which is considered AAA. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. Tanzantite is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). This example is a nearly flawless eye clarity and unbelievable depth with transparent finish. The pendant shwos a PT950 platinum construction with eight prong set large natural Tanzanite at the center with large bezel halo and loop being set with a total of 32 round brilliant cut natural Diamonds with high clarity of VS2 to I1 and color of F-H having a size of 1.47 carats. The piece comes with a GIA (Gemological Institute of America GIA Report 6177679194) which confirms this as being a natural rare example. The stone also comes with an AIG (American International Gemologists AIG Report No. 000720256025) which also confirms the above information and gives a value of $109,000.00. The pendant shows an intricate lattice under or back gallery and the piece is strung on an 18-inch platinum necklace. This is possibly the finest natural Tanzanite loose gemstone with exceptional color offered for public sale. The pendant has a weight of 23.00 grams.
