The stone is of course a natural Montana example and it shows the iconic Cornflower Blue coloring. The stones has a specific AIG GIA Gemset ID B 05/02 report showing that it is indeed a natural blue sapphire with a Type II Slight Inclusion with blue medium slightly graysish (cornflower) blue coloring and very good polish and symmetry (stone characteristics of feather, finger print inclusion, indented natural). The ring shows a fine solid Platinum construction with high polish finish having an oval dual stepped bezel with ribbon like accents on eight side and diamonds down the band and the setting accented by a window lattice. The ring shows a total of seventy-four prong set round brilliant and baguette cut Diamonds with an exact weight of 0.90 carats, a clarity of SI-1 to I-1 and coloring of F-H. The ring is from renowned designer Orianne Collins and is marked, "ORIANNE PT950". The piece has been authenticated and appraised AIG (American International Gemologists AIG Report No. 000718205036) which confirms the above information and gives an appraised current value of $26,625.00.
