Featured in this lot is this 44 Ranch Eri Cogshall Powder River, Montana branding iron circa 1930's to 1940's. The branding iron is wonderfully and professionally crafted iron construction. The branding iron features a four on the tip of the branding iron; and is from 44 Ranch a ranch from Powder River, Montana run by Eri Coggshall. The condition of this Montana branding iron shows the rod sundered from the brand with a small piece left but the brand is well preserved. The measurements of this branding iron is 8 3/4" x 5 3/8" x 3". The collective weight of this branding iron is 2lb.
