The solid 14 karat white gold pendant and chain features a fine, high quality triangular modified brilliant cut natural Tanzanite with a total weight of 5.81 carats, excellent Violetish-Blue deep coloring, and fine clarity. The center stone is decorated by a triangle shape halo ring with a total of 32 prong set brilliant cut diamonds showing clarity of VS-2 to SI-2 and a coloration gradient of G - H. Tanzanite is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. It was originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company, who named the stone Tanzanite.
