The center stone is a pear, brilliant faceted cut tanzanite gemstone that measures 16.68 x 9.18 x 6.31mm and shows type 1 clarity and a bluish violet coloration with excellent symmetry. The total weight of the gemstone is 6.62 carats. The pristine lattice shows a total of 65 round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 2.0 x 1.3mm with an average clarity of VS2 - SI1 and a color gradient of F - G and a total diamond weight of 1.60 carats. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite.
