This is an outstanding scarce 8.99 carat Tanzanite and 2.10 carat Diamond 18K ring with GIA and AIG paperwork. The stone exhibits an exceptional 8.99 carat size with very good oval cut having measurements of 15.52 x 12.32 x 7.20mm. The stone shows an exceptional neon violet (purplish-blue) color which is considered AAA+. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. Tanzantite is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). This example is a nearly flawless eye clarity and unbelievable depth with transparent finish. The piece comes with a GIA (Gemology Institute of America GIA Report 5202917833) which confirms the information and is also accompanied with an AIG (American International Gemologists AIG #: 000720080049) appraisal and report which gives a value of $32,000.00. The ring is in brand new condition and also exhibits 16 round brilliant cut natural Diamonds with a clarity of I-1 and color of F-H having a weight of 2.10 carats prong set in an oval halo around the center stone being supported by a lattice under gallery. The ring is in pristine condition and is a size 7 US.
