For your consideration is this chromolithograph called "Deer Hunting" by Arthur Burdett Frost (1851-1928). This is one of fifteen chromolithographs from the sporting portfolio published by Bradlee Whidden in 1889. A. B. Frost was an American illustrator, graphic artist, and comics writer. He was also well known as a painter. Frost's work is well known for its dynamic representation of motion and sequence. This artwork shows a man taking a shot at a deer on the other side of the river. The condition of this framed chromolithograph is good, with no obvious signs of damage; the piece shows good preservation to the hardwood frame.
