Wayne Dowdy is an American artist known for his depictions of American wildlife. The print depicts a mother grizzly and her two cubs exploring the snow cover bank of a river with a forest and mountains raising in the background. The cubs are shown investigating a pair of wood ducks standing on a rock on the river bank. The print is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "Wayne Dowdy 372/999 Wayne Dowdy c1996".
