Featured in this lot we have a limited edition print of "A Gentleman's Foursome" by Arnold Friberg. Arnold Friberg was a renowned painter who was known for his Religious, Patriotic, and Western works such as "The Prayer at Valley Forge", "Dinner Companions", and "Puffing Billy". He was also commissioned by the Royal family for a couple of paintings. 'A Gentlemen's Foursome' depicts a game of pool played between a American and Mexican cowboy, both on the back of horses in a crowded saloon with a variety of characters watching from the sides. The piece is one of fifteen hundred artist's proofs, each with its own individual number and signed by Arnold Friberg. The piece shows great detail and wonderful color for this rare Limited edition print. The print comes with its Certificate of Authenticity in a folder on the back of the painting. The frame measures 41" long by 26 1/4" tall.
