Featured in this lot is this AAA+ Tanzanite diamond and 18k white gold ring with AIG paperwork. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted 18k white gold construction and shows markings on the inside of the ring band as follows: Orianne - 18k. The ring features a centerstone of a prong set oval mixed cut natural Tanzanite gemstone that measures 14.60 x 11.90 x 6.15mm and shows a 6% bulge factor with eye clean clarity and considered type I with medium very slightly grayish violetish blue color with a good cut grade and a total weight of 7.74cts. The centerstone and double pave set shoulders are decorated with a total of 130 channel, round brilliant, and baguette cut diamonds with clarity of SI1 - I1 and a color grade of and shows a total diamond weight is 1.80cts. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. Tanzantite is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). This example is a nearly flawless eye clarity and unbelievable depth with transparent finish. The piece comes complete with AIG(American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 019915064037) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $20,900.00.
