Featured in this lot we have an Acoma Native American pottery lamp. The lamp shows a Acoma Indian pottery jar set on a wood pedestal with a lamp coming out of the top. The piece was made by Pueblo potters along trade or tourist routes, who often would made items such as pottery lamp and other item that would appeal to tourists and passers by. Its possible that the makers name is on the underside of the pottery jar, but its unfortunately blocked by the wooden base. The jar shows wonderful stylistic geometric patterns along the surface of the piece. The piece come with a nice rustic looking lamp shade. The piece is in good condition overall with a few scuffs. The piece measures approximately 27" tall by 20 3/4" in diameter overall with the jar measuring 13 1/2" tall by approximately 10" in diameter.
