Featured in this lot is this AIG certified, natural ruby and diamond, platinum ring with GIA and AIG paperwork. The ring shows an electronically tested, platinum, ladies cast ring with a trademark stamp of 'Orianne.' The center stone features an extremely rare, AIG certified, natural pear cut ruby with a weight of 1.33 carats; the stone shows a prong set, pear mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 8.00 x 5.30 x 3.70 mm, with heavily included clarity. The ruby is considered type II and shows medium dark, moderately strong, slightly purplish red color and a good cut. The setting shows a slightly split shoulder setting with a pave decorated design and a double halo ring decoration, including a total of 46 round brilliant cut diamond stones with a total weight of 0.82 carats, SI-2 to I-1 clarity, and a color gradient of F -H. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000718344095) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $4,105.00. The ring size is US 7 1/2.
