Featured in this lot is this extremely rare, unheated, translucent blue sapphire and natural diamond platinum necklace with GIA paperwork. This platinum necklace features a cable link platinum chain and a lovely platinum pendant frame stamped 'Orianne' and 'PT950.' The pendant is profusely decorated with 52 round brilliant cut natural diamonds with lovely clarity; the diamonds decorate the pendant on the chain loop and in a halo design around the sapphire. The sapphire in this necklace, otherwise known as natural corundum, comes with a GIA Sapphire Report, which confirms that it is a natural stone that is untreated/unheated. The sapphire is 38.12 carats in a Cushion faceted Cabochon with a translucent transparency and blue color; it measures of 24.97 x 24.92 x 5.17 mm. The necklace comes with GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire Grading Report#: 5171872774. The measurements of this necklace from clasp to clasp are 18 1/4" and the pendant measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4".
