This is a rare first edition of "Alaska and the Klondike Gold Fields" by A.C. Harris and published in 1897. The book provides an early account of the discovery of gold and ensuing population booms that followed. The book features a fantastic illustrated cover and spine with numerous illustrations throughout. The book has the original fold out map near the front as well. The book is in good condition. It measures 6.5" x 8.25". The fold out map measures 13" x 21". The next lot in the auction offers the opportunity to bid on the RARE salesman sample of this book.
