Available in this lot is an Alaskan Inuit Eskimo walrus tusk scrimshaw. The piece is signed by "C. M. Kokulu". The tusk shows a wonderful scrimshaw image of an Arctic Loon. The true Arctic Loon is larger than the Pacific Loon, but its habits are quite similar. The tusk is in excellent condition and measures 3" X 1.5".
