For your consideration is this Navajo Native American Klagetoh rug. Klagetoh is located just south of Ganado. Accordingly, Ganado and Klagetoh rugs incorporate the same or similar design elements, but the colors used are reversed from each other. The main difference is the use of red; while Ganado rugs are predominately red with gray, brown, black, cream, and beige used as highlights. Klagetoh rugs are predominately gray or beige and use red as a highlight. Both use black borders. This rug has a black hooked border with a cream colored field. Concentric serrated diamonds in gray, black, and red/ orange are centered on the field. In the center of the red/ orange serrated diamond is a cream colored cross. The rug has an orange selvedge cord and orange ends with orange tassels. The rug is believed to be Mid-Century and is in excellent condition. It measures 26" x 44".
