For your consideration is a rare Alice Ryniker watercolor painting circa 1994. Born on October 14 1913 , she was educated in Billings Public Schools; Eastern Montana College; Montana State College; and University of Washington, Seattle. She took a European Workshop where she met Pablo Picasso, the most influential artist of the 20th century. She taught in Ryegate, Montana, and Billings Senior High School. Alice established the Art Department at Rocky Mountain College where she taught for twenty three years. The Ryniker- Morrison Gallery was named for her and Bob Morrison, which she was very proud to work with. She taught painting, drawing and design for more than 25 years, retiring in 1977.
